Senior Auditor Responsibilities
- Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to aid in leadership decisions
- Maintain and enforce internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
- Come up with new and innovative ideas to propel the Department's processes ahead.
- Report directly to the CFO and work in close collaboration with other leaders in the organization.
Senior Auditor Requirements
- CPA certification (highly preferred) or the ability to acquire one in a short time frame.
- A minimum of 3+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2+ years in an Audit Supervisor role.
- Experience in auditing at non-profit institutions is highly valued
- Proficiency in accounting software along with Microsoft Office and Google Suites
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance.
