About the Opportunity

Our client, a growing and dynamic company in the hospitality sector, is seeking a skilled and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This is a hybrid position — you’ll work from home part of the week, but also be present 2-3 days a week onsite at our restaurants to support teams face-to-face. Some regional travel (up to 25%) is required to ensure HR support is consistent and visible across locations. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting people and driving organizational success.

This role will work closely with a remote Director of HR and play a key part in developing and executing HR strategies across multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Post open positions and manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Act as a key resource for field managers, offering guidance on employee relations and HR matters
  • Administer and process payroll accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain employee records and manage data through HR systems across all stages of the employee lifecycle
  • Oversee benefits administration, including open enrollment and employee support
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
  • Support continuous improvement of HR processes and initiatives

Qualifications

  • A background in restaurants or hotels is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related (preferred)
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Experience in hospitality or retail environments strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with HR-related systems such as HotSchedules and PMS software
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
