Opportunity: Manufacturing Process Engineer
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Engineer to optimize the use of equipment, materials, and labor with the goal of maximizing production efficiency while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This is a hands-on role, supporting both daily manufacturing operations and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Manufacturing Process Engineer Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous improvement across assembly processes using lean manufacturing and statistical analysis to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost control.
- Support new product introductions and existing production by developing optimal assembly methods and manufacturing solutions.
- Identify and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions to minimize rework and scrap.
- Optimize workforce utilization, equipment layout, and workflow to improve operational efficiency and maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide technical guidance and training to ensure operators and support staff meet process, quality, and documentation standards.
Manufacturing Process Engineer Education & Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Field
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and general PC skills, with the ability to manage and analyze technical documentation and data effectively.
- Solid understanding of production feasibility, process control, mechanical and electrical assembly methods, and quality standards.
- Experience in electrical assembly and testing, with familiarity in supporting soldering and wire crimping processes.
- Skilled in statistical concepts and data analysis, with the ability to identify trends and drive data-informed decisions.
Manufacturing Process Engineer Compensation & Benefits:
- $100,000-$110,000 DOE
- 401(k) with 3% match/ Profit Sharing
- 120 PTO hours / Paid Holidays
