We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to ensure the effective utilization of equipment and materials with an objective of maximizing production output while maintaining safety, quality, and cost standards. This hands-on position will support ongoing manufacturing as well as process improvements. Reports to the Operations Director.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Industrial Engineer plays a key role in optimizing production processes by collaborating cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Sales. This role is instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, and supporting new product introductions.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives across assembly operations by applying lean manufacturing principles and utilizing statistical analysis to drive process enhancements
Evaluate production workflows, workforce allocation, equipment layout, and space utilization to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to safety standards
Estimate production lead times, labor needs, and associated costs to support strategic planning and decision-making
Design, develop, and assess manufacturing equipment and processes that deliver high-quality products while maintaining cost competitiveness
Conduct manufacturing feasibility assessments and create detailed assembly instructions and tooling requirements

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment required
Familiar with ERP systems, Oracle, SAP, or IFS equivalent
Mon-Fri, onsite schedule

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:

$100,000-$110,000 DOE
401k, 3% matching at 100%, 4-6% matching at 50%, vested on Day 1
3% Profit Sharing
120 PTO hours
