We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to ensure the effective utilization of equipment and materials with an objective of maximizing production output while maintaining safety, quality, and cost standards. This hands-on position will support ongoing manufacturing as well as process improvements. Reports to the Operations Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Industrial Engineer plays a key role in optimizing production processes by collaborating cross-functionally with Design Engineering, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Sales. This role is instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring product quality, and supporting new product introductions.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across assembly operations by applying lean manufacturing principles and utilizing statistical analysis to drive process enhancements
- Evaluate production workflows, workforce allocation, equipment layout, and space utilization to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to safety standards
- Estimate production lead times, labor needs, and associated costs to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Design, develop, and assess manufacturing equipment and processes that deliver high-quality products while maintaining cost competitiveness
- Conduct manufacturing feasibility assessments and create detailed assembly instructions and tooling requirements
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Field
- 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment required
- Familiar with ERP systems, Oracle, SAP, or IFS equivalent
- Mon-Fri, onsite schedule
INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:
- $100,000-$110,000 DOE
- 401k, 3% matching at 100%, 4-6% matching at 50%, vested on Day 1
- 3% Profit Sharing
- 120 PTO hours
