Executive Sous Chef

Seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Sous Chef to help lead the culinary team at a high-energy Spanish restaurant known for authentic tapas. This role supports the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations and team development.

Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading daily kitchen operations and ensuring service excellence
  • Support menu execution and maintain high-quality standards
  • Supervise prep, line, and expo stations to ensure efficiency and consistency
  • Help train and mentor BOH team members
  • Monitor inventory, prep levels, and sanitation procedures

Executive Sous Chef Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or high-level Line Cook in upscale or high-volume kitchens
  • Strong knowledge of Spanish cuisine and tapas-style service
  • Effective communicator with leadership potential
  • Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on execution
  • Able to perform under pressure in a busy, guest-focused environment
