We’re seeking a visionary Director of Engineering – HW/SW to lead both hardware and software engineering teams at a global company that serves the agricultural industry. This is a rare opportunity to take the reins from a long-standing leader as they retire, and help shape the future of innovative product development in a fast-evolving space.
Director of Engineering – HW/SW Benefits and Compensation:
- Base salary range: $175,000 – $200,000
- Full benefits including 401(k)
- Paid time off and vacation
Director of Engineering – HW/SW Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- BS in Engineering required
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role in a SCRUM environment
- Proven experience managing hardware and software engineering teams across disciplines (mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software)
- Lead the full product lifecycle for instrument control systems and cloud-based platforms
- Familiarity with tools and technologies including: SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Altium, Eagle, GIT, Bitbucket, AWS, Kubernetes, PostMan, Fusion 360, Arena
- Guide cross-functional collaboration with Product, CX, Manufacturing, Sales, and Install Operations teams
- Mentor, coach, and develop engineering talent, while fostering an environment of innovation and accountability
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, risk management protocols, and product certifications
