We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales. This person will lead a team as Director of Sales and bring a strong business book from the local market. Creating a team of salespeople and collaborating intensely with the General Manager and operations teams at the property is paramount to success. Candidates should have strong hotel brand experience (prefer Marriott) and have recently been in a similar role. We are a well-established hotel group and continue to grow our portfolio. We are looking for someone to join us in our exciting growth toward the future!
Director of Hotel Sales Requirements:
- Currently in Director of Sales role or recently held a similar position
- Passionate about sales and excels as a coach and mentor to build that culture throughout our sales force
- 5+ years in a Sales Manager role with quality, full or limited service hotel brands
- Continues to be hands-on in our properties, going on sales calls and helping close deals
- Able to build robust sales plans and with audacious but achievable goals with the right team in place
- Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly adapt to various technology platforms
- Marriott experience is strongly preferred but not required
