We are a leading full-service metal processing firm seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Leader to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance, aligning with industry regulations and customer expectations.
Quality Assurance Leader Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Quality Assurance Leader Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing industry
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards, including ISO 9001
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
