Retail Assistant Manager – Qualifications
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Indianapolis, Indiana
- Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience (Required)
- Strong working knowledge of diamonds, fine jewelry, and the local market
- Professional presence, including polished attire and client-facing demeanor
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Passion for exceptional customer service and interest in luxury retail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, family-owned retail environment
Retail Assistant Manager – Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed individual and store sales goals
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans and local marketing initiatives
- Create a welcoming, high-touch retail environment that fosters client loyalty
- Coach team members to elevate client service and maximize their individual performance
- Handle client issues with professionalism and effective resolution strategies
- Manage team scheduling, including time-off requests and daily shift planning
- Perform opening and closing procedures, assist customers in-store and by phone
Retail Assistant Manager Compensation
- Base Salary = 50K-62K + bonus potential (Projected 30K-40K)
