Retail Assistant Manager – Qualifications

  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Minimum of 5 years of retail management experience (Required)
  • Strong working knowledge of diamonds, fine jewelry, and the local market
  • Professional presence, including polished attire and client-facing demeanor
  • Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and interest in luxury retail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, family-owned retail environment

Retail Assistant Manager – Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to consistently exceed individual and store sales goals
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans and local marketing initiatives
  • Create a welcoming, high-touch retail environment that fosters client loyalty
  • Coach team members to elevate client service and maximize their individual performance
  • Handle client issues with professionalism and effective resolution strategies
  • Manage team scheduling, including time-off requests and daily shift planning
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, assist customers in-store and by phone

Retail Assistant Manager Compensation

  • Base Salary = 50K-62K + bonus potential (Projected 30K-40K)
