We are seeking a detail-oriented Restaurant Accountanting Specialist to join a large restaurant chain. This is a critical role for a growing hospitality operation, ensuring financial accuracy, timely reporting, and strong operational support across the restaurant’s departments.

Restaurant Accountant Specialist Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance Required; CPA preferred but not required
- Hospitality industry experience strongly preferred (restaurant accounting a plus)
- Record daily transactions, manage sales data, reconcile accounts, and prepare accurate financial statements
- Process bi-weekly payroll using Paychex Flex and maintain related accounting entries
- Oversee accounts payable: process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and resolve discrepancies
- Manage tax filings (sales tax, property tax) and ensure timely renewals of licenses and contracts
- Proficiency with Excel, Restaurant365 (R365), Paychex Flex, OData, and Power Query
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
