General Manager Responsibilities
- Achieves restaurant operational excellence by providing quality training, service, hospitality, and food
- Leads the team to achieve impeccable financial results while providing a safe and clean environment
- Establishes positive and effective communication
- Must have a passion for hospitality
- Operates with a high level of integrity at all times while remaining on the floor with your team and the guests during service
General Manager Qualifications
- Longevity in previous jobs – No more than four jobs in the last ten years
- 5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a full-service, upscale restaurant environment
- Strong financial acumen – experience managing a P&L, ordering and inventory systems, and controlling all restaurant-related costs
- Ability to build hospitality-focused team members
