We’re seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join a well-established manufacturing company focused on operational excellence and a people-first culture. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is ready to lead HR strategy and execution across the full employee lifecycle.
Human Resources Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely, accurate payroll processing while maintaining strict adherence to compliance requirements across local, state, and federal levels.
- Partner with hiring managers to drive recruiting efforts and attract high-quality candidates across multiple departments.
- Lead workforce planning and employee relations initiatives with an emphasis on retention and engagement strategies.
- Drive the company’s performance management process, including coaching leaders on performance reviews, goal-setting, and employee development.
- Review and update HR policies and procedures regularly to ensure full legal compliance and alignment with company values.
- Oversee benefits programs, including plan administration, open enrollment, and employee education, while managing vendor relationships.
- Manage unemployment claims, conduct internal investigations, and contribute to broader efforts related to workplace safety and risk management.
Human Resources Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- At least 3 years of HR leadership experience, leading teams or major initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance standards, and best practices across core HR functions.
- Proven experience with payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of an organization.
Human Resources Manager Preferred:
- Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP).
- Experience with HRIS systems and using data to inform HR decisions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
