Well established creative marking and branding agency seeks an Accounting Manager to join their team.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support
- strategic decision-making
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to leadership
- on actionable items
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Work with accounting partner to manage finances in the UK
- Manage tax filings and reporting in collaboration with external tax advisors for both the U.S. and UK locations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations in the U.S., as well as other tax requirements in the UK
- Manage cash flow to maintain financial health
- Work with banking partners in the US to optimize banking relationships
Accounting Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA
- or MBA is highly desirable
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with demonstrated progression
- in responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, and forecasting
- Proficiency in financial software, and productivity tools such as Slack, Zoom, G-Suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Location: Los Angeles metro area and able to be in the office 2-3 days/week
Accounting Manager Benefits:
- Base salary of 100-120k
