A well-established firm is seeking a Financial Director. This role is ideal for a strategic finance professional with a proven track record in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.

You will be responsible for leading financial operations, supporting long-term planning, and working closely with executive leadership to drive continued growth. Experience within a legal or similarly structured professional setting is essential.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a law firm environment (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation would be a plus
• Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and strategic financial leadership
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, partnership taxation, and familiarity with mass tort financial operations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with legal industry financial systems/software

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the in-house accounting and finance team, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals
• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support long-term growth
• Direct forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes, maintaining accuracy and accountability
• Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and financial reporting
• Manage daily cash operations and supervise the preparation of detailed cash flow analyses and reports
• Continuously assess and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary targeting $175-325K, commensurate with experience and qualifications
