A well-established firm is seeking a Financial Director. This role is ideal for a strategic finance professional with a proven track record in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
You will be responsible for leading financial operations, supporting long-term planning, and working closely with executive leadership to drive continued growth. Experience within a legal or similarly structured professional setting is essential.
This is an opportunity to make an impact behind the scenes at a respected organization undergoing dynamic growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a law firm environment (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation would be a plus
- Deep expertise in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and strategic financial leadership
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, partnership taxation, and familiarity with mass tort financial operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with legal industry financial systems/software
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the in-house accounting and finance team, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support long-term growth
- Direct forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes, maintaining accuracy and accountability
- Oversee all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and financial reporting
- Manage daily cash operations and supervise the preparation of detailed cash flow analyses and reports
- Continuously assess and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary targeting $175-325K, commensurate with experience and qualifications
