We are seeking a Technical Engineering Director to join our office in Spain. In this high-impact role, you’ll head a growing engineering division, playing a key part in shaping both our technical strategy and team structure. You’ll be responsible for building scalable infrastructure, ensuring robust cloud deployments, and managing our software engineering best practices.
You’ll manage a team of 10+ engineers, foster agile delivery, and ensure collaboration across our research, product, and operations departments.
Engineering Director Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience in software engineering and/or DevOps roles
- 2+ years in a leadership role managing DevOps or platform teams in tech-focused environments
- Master’s degree required; Ph.D. preferred in Computer Science or a related field
- Hands-on familiarity with LLMs, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks
- Demonstrated success deploying cloud-based applications at scale
- Strong working knowledge of both AWS and Azure ecosystems
- Previous experience managing teams of 10+ is essential
- Fluency in English and Spanish
