We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Luxury Retreat Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a wellness retreat center in Nayarit, Mexico. This role is ideal for someone organized, calm under pressure, and passionate about holistic healing practices. You’ll coordinate retreats, support facilitators, manage staff, and ensure a peaceful, high-quality experience for our guests.

Luxury Retreat Operations Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Retreat Coordination: Organize retreat schedules, confirm facilitator availability, and ensure all sessions run smoothly
  • Facility Oversight: Monitor the condition of the retreat space, supplies, and safety equipment
  • Ceremony Support: Assist with opening and closing ceremonies, provide support during plant medicine sessions, and ensure a safe, nurturing space
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage team members. Create staff schedules and maintain a positive, accountable work environment
  • Guest Experience: Address guest needs and concerns, promote satisfaction, and maintain a welcoming environment
  • Operations & Compliance: Keep records, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and legal protocols related to plant medicine
  • Problem-Solving: Maintain open communication with staff and guests, and proactively address any issues that arise

Luxury Retreat Operations Manager Qualifications

  • Experience managing operations for a team of 20+ people and/or in hospitality or wellness retreats
  • Fluent in English, bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with plant medicine (e.g., psilocybin, MDMA) is a strong plus
  • Ability to maintain a grounded, calm, and supportive presence
  • Based locally or within commuting distance of La Cruz/Sayulita
  • Professional presentation and commitment to a peaceful retreat environment
