The position is very "hands-on," and you must have proven skills in financials and maintaining cost control systems.

 

Banquet Sous Chef Qualifications:

·      At least 3 years experience in an upscale, ingredient-driven, multi-outlet scratch kitchen environment

·      Enthusiastic attitude and positive work ethic

·      Hotel, private club, or resort, and banquet experience required

·      High-volume and butchering experience required

·      Exceptional culinary skills: menu development, banquet planning, and recipe development

·      Create and update menus, recipes, and SOPs in concert with Chef de Cuisine

·      Culinary Arts degree preferred

 

Banquet Sous Chef Duties:

·      Holds team and self accountable to all safety and sanitation regulations and company standards

·      Attend weekly menu and banquet planning and work closely with Food & Beverage team

·      Ensure quality standards and guest satisfaction

·      Oversee indoor and outdoor culinary operations

·      Ability to multitask and get things done efficiently as possible

Salary Range – $65,000-$75,000, plus a great benefits package
