Job Posting: Attorney – Insurance Defense
We are seeking experienced attorneys to join our national and international insurance defense practice in New York. The ideal candidates will have:
Responsibilities:
- Propose litigation strategy and communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
- Draft reports, pleadings, discovery, and motions.
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and participate in mediations and trials.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of litigation experience, particularly in construction defense under New York Labor Law 200, 240(1) & 241(6).
- Additional experience in premises liability, professional liability, wrongful death, or related claims is a plus.
- Admitted and in good standing in New York; admissions in other states are advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary ($125,000–$185,000/year, based on experience).
