We are seeking an analytical, proactive Plant Production Manager dedicated to enhancing general operations efficiency, productivity, and workplace safety. This role focuses on optimizing workflow scheduling, reducing lead times, maintaining equipment functionality, and ensuring on-time order shipments. The ideal candidate thrives on continuous improvement, identifying practical enhancements to processes, equipment, and workspace layouts to boost productivity and reduce downtime.

Production Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage production schedules.
- Monitor and improve daily production performance using 6 Sigma methodologies including Kanban, 5S, etc.
- Ensure workplace safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and minimize downtime.
- Use Excel and ERP systems for data analysis, building reports, and workflow optimization and management.
- Enhance productivity and reduce production hours by analyzing data and processes, identifying inefficiencies, implementing and maintaining solutions.
Production Manager Qualifications:
- Experience in production or manufacturing operations, furniture production preferred.
- Experience with OSHA regulations and safety.
- Proficiency with Excel and ERP software.
- Knowledge of Kanban inventory systems, 6 Sigma, and 5S.
- Strong skills in data analytics, problem-solving, communication, employee relations and leadership.
- Preferred Experience:
- Ability to diagnose and solve equipment issues.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
