General Manager-Trains, coaches, and develops your entire restaurant team. Ensures optimal restaurant performance; overseeing facility, financial, and human resources activities to drive a successful operation.
Restaurant General Manager Job Responsibilities:
- Providing guidance to Managers, Kitchen Managers, and Team Members
- Performing daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties
- Ensuring proper staffing in each area
- Oversee and if necessary, assist with the hiring, training, and appropriate coaching and counseling of Team Members and Managers in Training
- Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Working effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners
- Listening, communicating, and working to resolve guest concerns
- Delivering timely results with minimal supervision
- Maintaining regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts
- Control costs and identifies measures to reduce waste
- Meeting or exceeding set standards of financial performance
Restaurant General Manager Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old or older
- A minimum of 2+ years as a GM in the hospitality business, buffets, and contract food service is a plus!
- Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of all staff functions
