The General Manager is responsible for the overall operations. This includes ensuring a

seamless guest experience and promoting a positive and safe work environment for team members.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance to Unit Managers, Kitchen Managers, and Team Members
  • Performing daily opening, closing, operational, and administrative duties
  • Ensuring proper staffing in each area
  • Oversee and if necessary, assist with the hiring, training, and appropriate coaching and counseling of Team Members and Managers in Training
  • Ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Working effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, guests, vendors, and corporate partners
  • Listening, communicating, and working to resolve guest concerns
  • Delivering timely results with minimal supervision
  • Maintaining regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts
  • Control costs and identifies measures to reduce waste
  • Meeting or exceeding set standards of financial performance

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years old or older
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the hospitality business (bar, restaurant, etc.)
  • Minimum of 3 years of General Manager experience in fast-paced, full-service restaurant
  • Dine in theater experience a plus
  • Ability to obtain any required alcohol service licenses or certifications, including T.I.P.S. Certification
  • Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of all staff functions
  • Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or equivalent experience
