We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Building and Roofing Inspector to join our client's team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for motivated self-starters to work on diverse assignments while being supported by a highly respected team of professionals.

Building and Roofing Inspector Responsibilities:

• Conduct roof and residential building inspections to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Identify and report violations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Provide professional guidance and code-compliant solutions to contractors, developers, and property owners.
• Collaborate with staff, government agencies, and the public to ensure safety and compliance.
• Stay updated on industry standards, construction procedures, and evolving regulations.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Building and Roofing Inspector Qualifications & Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction technology.
• Ability to interpret codes in the field and provide effective solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
• Ability to positively interact with staff, contractors, government agencies, and the public.

Building and Roofing Inspector Certification Requirements:

• Florida Standard Inspector License in Building (Required).
• Florida Standard Roofing Inspector License (Required).
• Florida Certified General Contractor License (Required).
• Florida Standard Plan Review License in Building (Preferred but not required).
• Background in construction and inspection.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
