Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join their team, working with medical claims and clinical data utilizing proprietary, CMS sponsored and HL7 data formats, including FHIR, QRDA, ADT, and CCD. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing and optimizing data import processes and reporting solutions, leveraging traditional data engineering methodology while looking for opportunities to integrate newer technologies when applicable.

Data Scientist Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product owners, Web developers and other stake holders to create cutting edge health care solutions using the latest health care data formats and API technologies.
- Work extensively with medical claims data to import, analyze, and report on large datasets.
- Develop and maintain data import processes using SQL Server and SSIS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement innovative technologies for improving data processing and reporting performance.
- Work with various HL7 data formats, including FHIR, ADT, QRDA, and CCD, to ensure data is accurately imported and structured for analysis.
- Use C# to develop custom data analysis scripts and tools, enabling efficient reporting and data manipulation.
Data Scientist Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server development and maintenance.
- Experience with SSIS for data integration and transformation.
- Proficient in C# for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with HL7 data formats, including FHIR, ADT, QRDA, and CCD, is highly preferred.
- AI experience or familiarity with machine learning frameworks to enhance data insights and decision-making.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies is a plus.
Data Scientist Compensation:
- $120,000 – $150,000 salary with annual bonuses.
