Join a growing manufacturing company of 300 employees producing high-quality food products for clients nationwide. This role involves 75% office-based work (payroll, scheduling, compliance) and 25% on the production floor (employee engagement and support). We value personal connections—knowing each employee by name—and a hands-on, people-first approach.
Human Resource Manager Requirements and Responsibilities
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (HR or related field preferred), 7–10 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in leadership (manufacturing setting ideal)
- Employee Relations: Primary point of contact for staff, maintaining a positive, inclusive culture
- HR Operations: Oversee payroll, scheduling, and regulatory filings (workers’ compensation, unemployment, etc.)
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage hiring processes and new-employee orientations
- Policy & Compliance: Develop and enforce HR policies that align with safety and labor laws
- Performance & Development: Coordinate performance reviews, training programs, and career growth initiatives
