Job Title: Process Design Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Relocation: Relocation allowance available for candidates outside of the Houston, TX area

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Process Design Engineer to lead the design, operation, and implementation of industrial processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing sustainability, and maximizing profitability. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in process engineering within the botanical extraction, food & beverage, cosmetic, health product, or pharmaceutical industries.

Process Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, evaluate, and optimize industrial process designs to enhance efficiency and performance.

· Conduct process simulations and modeling to ensure optimal operation.

· Implement and oversee process improvements to enhance sustainability and reduce operational costs.

· Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and health and safety protocols.

· Utilize process engineering software and CAD/AutoCAD tools for design and analysis.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvements.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in process design and operations.

Process Design Engineer Qualifications & Skills:

· Minimum 5 years of experience in process design within botanical extraction, food & beverage, cosmetics, health products, or pharmaceutical industries.

· Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field.

*5+ years of experience in designing hygienic processing systems including CIP and pasteurization.

*Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermal processing, and sanitary equipment design.

*Experience with 3D CAD and 2D drafting tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

*Familiarity with automation, PLC systems, and process control loops.

· Strong technical skills and knowledge of process-related standards.

· Proficiency in process simulations and engineering software.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Process Design Engineer Compensation & Benefits:

· $98,000-$120,000 DOE

· Sales commission opportunities.

· Relocation allowance available for candidates outside the Houston area.
