We are looking for a COO for an established brand in North Carolina. This is an amazing team, high energy, accountable and the team has a tremendous pride in their organization. We have been successful for over 30 years and now we need a seasoned COO to help grow the company to the next level. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
COO Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in CNC machining, metal processing, assembly, and quality management.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Proven track record of training teams, implementing correct procedures, and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on problem-solving and achieving operational goals.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to drive performance improvements in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment.
COO Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of manufacturing operations, including CNC machining, metal processing, quality, and assembly. This role ensures efficient production, maintains high-quality standards, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and aligns operations with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who can guide and train teams on correct procedures and processes while being solutions-oriented and goal-driven.
- Drive accountability and a problem-solving mindset across all levels of the organization.
- Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost control while maintaining production efficiency.
- Analyze production data and financial metrics to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Inspire and motivate teams to meet and exceed performance goals while maintaining a positive work environment.
