Join a leader in school bus manufacturing focused on safety, quality, and cleaner energy solutions. We’re looking for a Production Manufacturing Engineer to enhance production processes and support engineering changes across our operations.
Senior Production Manufacturing Engineer – What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support for production lines (tooling, labor standards, material structure)
- Review design changes via the PLM system and assess manufacturing impacts
- Implement process improvements using SPC, PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis
- Develop business cases and write AFEs for funding procurement
- Work within an ISO 9000 quality system and produce compliant documentation
Production Manufacturing Engineer – What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience (automotive experience preferred)
- Ability to read engineering prints and understand bus/chassis assembly
- Strong project management, planning, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office products, including Project
