Hotel Sales Coordinator Responsibilities and Expectations
- Process contracts, proposals, event orders, banquet checks, and key documents for the Sales & Events team.
- Qualify and manage new sales leads, ensuring timely and professional follow-up.
- Answer calls, assist guests, and maintain strong relationships to maximize revenue.
- Maintain positive working relationships and collaborate with the team to achieve goals.
- Perform administrative tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
- Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods.
Hotel Sales Coordinator Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in sales, events, or hospitality.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) and knowledge of Marriott CI/TY, MARSHA, or Opera preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Marriott background is a must.
