Sales Account Manager | Grimes, IA

Feed Industry

Our client, a rapidly growing global raw ingredients distributor with an expanding U.S. presence, is seeking a Sales Account Manager (Feed Industry) based out of their Grimes, IA location. If you're a motivated sales account manager with experience in the feed industry or a related field, this is a great opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding organization!

The role involves building and maintaining B2B customer relationships through regular communication and research, identifying business opportunities, and advising customers on product applications. You will represent our client at meetings and events, manage commercial contacts, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues. Additionally, you'll ensure CRM data is up-to-date and work to meet sales targets and profitability goals within assigned accounts or market segments.

 

Sales Account Manager Compensation & Benefits:

Sales Account Manager Qualifications & Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven track record in outside sales, business development, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of micro-ingredients, raw chemicals manufacturing, or biotechnology research.
  • Knowledge of the feed industry, or similar.
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, presentations, and industry events as needed.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and video conferencing tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
