The General Manager will be responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, leading both front and back-of-house teams to deliver top-tier service, operational efficiency, and a guest-first culture. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong financial acumen, and experience managing a full-service, upscale dining operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all daily restaurant operations
- Maintain and elevate guest experience, service standards, and team engagement
- Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and development of staff
- Drive financial performance, manage budgets, and analyze P&L reports
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and labor regulations
- Collaborate with ownership and culinary leadership to support marketing, events, and community outreach
- Foster a positive, team-driven workplace rooted in professionalism and hospitality
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of current/recent experience as a General Manager or senior leadership role in full-service or fine dining restaurants
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Demonstrated success managing both front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Ability to balance guest satisfaction with business goals and operational excellence
- Positive, hands-on management style with strong communication skills
- High level of professionalism and a passion for hospitality
- Experience with Italian or Mediterranean cuisine is a plus
- Experience managing special events, off-site catering, or outdoor dining concepts is a plus
