We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Commercial Account Manager to join our growing commercial lines agency. This role is responsible for managing renewals, advocating for clients, and retaining business accounts. General Liability (GL), Commercial Property, Auto, and Workers’ Compensation.
Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager – What You Will Do:
- Manage 100–120 annual commercial renewal accounts, including General Liability, Property, Auto, and various ancillary lines, with a focus on Workers' Compensation.
- Lead virtual client meetings to present renewal strategies, discuss policy options, and resolve complex coverage inquiries.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for key products such as EPLI, Cyber, and Umbrella policies to strengthen clients’ risk management programs.
- Collaborate with 5–7 carriers per renewal to negotiate competitive rates and secure optimal coverage.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members on best practices for underwriting, renewals, and client relationship management.
- Oversee all aspects of policy endorsements, billing resolutions, and compliance documentation to maintain seamless service delivery.
Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager – What You Bring:
- 5+ years of commercial lines account management experience, with deep knowledge of General Liability, Property, and Auto coverage.
- Active California Department of Insurance (DOI) License (required).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex insurance concepts to clients.
- Mastery of AMS360 or similar agency management systems (training available as needed).
- Proven track record of staying organized and delivering excellent results while managing a high-volume renewal portfolio.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with escalated service issues and billing disputes.
- Bonus points if you have experience with EPLI and Cyber coverage.
