We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Commercial Account Manager to join our growing commercial lines agency. This role is responsible for managing renewals, advocating for clients, and retaining business accounts. General Liability (GL), Commercial Property, Auto, and Workers’ Compensation.

Senior Commercial Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Manage 100–120 annual renewal accounts across GL, Property, Auto, and ancillary lines, with an emphasis on Workers' Compensation renewals
  • Lead virtual client meetings to present renewal options, negotiate terms, and address complex coverage questions
  • Cross-sell and add policies such as EPLI, Cyber, or Umbrella to mitigate clients' risk exposure
  • Market accounts to 5–7 carriers per renewal to secure competitive terms for core lines using industry relationships
  • Mentor junior staff on underwriting negotiations, renewal best practices, and client management
  • Oversee policy endorsements, billing disputes, and compliance documentation, ensuring operational excellence

Senior Commercial Account Manager Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial lines account management (with expertise in GL, Property, and Auto)
  • Active CA DOI license (required)
  • Proven ability to communicate complex coverage details effectively to clients
  • Mastery of AMS360 or similar agency management systems (training provided for updates)
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage high-volume renewals
  • Excellent client service skills, with the ability to resolve escalated inquiries and disputes tactfully
  • Experience with EPLI and Cyber coverage is a plus
