Mechanical Project Engineer – What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
- 5 to 10 years of experience in heavy industry (steel industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Proven experience managing technical projects and leading cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with design software (SolidWorks a plus)
Mechanical Project Engineer – What You’ll Tackle
- Execute mechanical design work, drawings, and calculations for capital asset repairs and improvements
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and hydraulic system issues
- Use analysis to identify and drive process improvements
- Lead project management of internal teams and contractors for timely project completion
- Document engineering standards, processes, and technical procedures
- Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are followed consistently
