We are located on Eastern Long Island, and seeking a New York, Structural PE, to become a vital part of our growing team. This opportunity includes a relocation to the stunning Hamptons area of Long Island. We are looking for a candidate with 5–10 years of expertise, specifically in high-end residential projects. Structural Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Structural Residential Engineering.
- Self-motivated and driven professional with a collaborative mindset who can effectively engage with peers, management, and contractors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft detailed letters, memoranda, technical reports, and diagrams.
- Experience with site development, grading, stormwater design, and erosion and sediment control.
- Ability to respond efficiently to staff, clients, and team members with a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in developing design plans using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Certification is a plus.
Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of professionals to create civil engineering plans and specifications for various land development projects.
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction oversight.
- Provide civil engineering solutions for site design, including grading, drainage, and utility planning.
- Assist in the preparation of permitting applications, design documents, and construction plans.
- Prepare technical reports, plans, and supporting documentation.
