The mechanical engineer is a technical role within the Engineering Department which is responsible for the ongoing development of the plant’s assets and operation.
The department has three key objectives, improve and maintain operations of existing asset base, execute the capital investment plan, and improve production/quality results through equipment and process analysis.
Mechanical Engineer Compensation – Benefits:
- $100k – $120k Salary + Bonus

Mechanical Engineer Qualifications – Responsibilities:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science
- 5-10 Years’ Experience in Heavy Industry (Steel Industry – Iron Works – Foundry) Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Experience with industry design software including (SolidWorks and Auto CAD
- Mechanical design work, drawings, and calculations related to repairs or improvement of capital assets
