A leading philanthropic organization is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Philanthropy Director to lead donor engagement, cultivate philanthropic partnerships, and drive community impact. This role is ideal for an experienced fundraiser who is committed to advancing generosity and strengthening communities.
Philanthropy Director Responsibilities
- Develop and implement donor engagement strategies to grow philanthropic contributions.
- Cultivate, steward, and manage relationships with individual donors, foundations, and professional advisors.
- Oversee planned giving initiatives, including estate planning, complex gifts, and donor-advised funds.
- Collaborate with leadership to align fundraising efforts with community impact goals.
- Represent the organization in community outreach, partnerships, and fundraising events.
Philanthropy Director Skills
- Proven success in nonprofit fundraising, donor cultivation, and relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of major gifts, planned giving, and philanthropic best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and drive meaningful community impact.
- Experience working with CRM systems and fundraising databases (Blackbaud preferred).
