We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to children in Anchorage, Alaska. This role focuses on assessing, developing, and implementing therapy plans that promote functional independence in daily activities, including motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care. The ideal candidate will collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure each child reaches their full potential.
Pediatric Occupational Therapist Job Duties:
- Conduct evaluations to assess fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care abilities, and overall functional development
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs.
- Utilize evidence-based therapy techniques to improve coordination, motor planning, sensory integration, and adaptive skills.
- Educate and collaborate with families, caregivers, and teachers to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines.
Pediatric Occupational Therapist Job Requirements:
- Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Alaska Occupational Therapy License (OTR/L).
- Preferably 1-2 years of pediatric occupational therapy experience, but new graduates with strong clinical skills will be considered.
