Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the financial reporting and month-end close process while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.
This is not a remote or hybrid role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process, including financial reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile key accounts such as cash, accounts receivable, and accruals.
- Oversee lease accounting schedules following applicable standards.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience, including general ledger and month-end close.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP (knowledge of IFRS is a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF statements).
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
