Land Development Engineer- Civil

An established, growing, and BUSY residential development company working with some of the largest residential companies in the U.S. is looking for and experienced civil engineer to add to their tenured team.

Is This You?

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of PA with over 7 years of experience in civil engineering, specializing in residential and commercial land development.​
• Extensive expertise in grading design, environmental impact assessments, and infrastructure planning.​
• Effective communicator with a personable demeanor, adept at leading presentations and securing support from public and municipal stakeholders.​
• Innovative problem-solver who combines technical precision with visionary approaches to address land use challenges.​
• Proficient in Carlson Civil Suite; alternatively, experienced in AutoCAD with a demonstrated ability to quickly master new design tools.​
• Skilled in managing consultants and adept at navigating complex permitting processes.

Is This What You Like Doing?

• Lead the planning and execution of intricate land development projects, overseeing all phases from initial concept through to final engineering.​
• Present and advocate for project designs to municipal authorities and community stakeholders, effectively addressing and overcoming any initial resistance.​
• Direct and manage comprehensive site grading, landscape architecture, and integration of environmental considerations to ensure cohesive project development.​
• Collaborate closely with builders, developers, and property owners to facilitate the delivery of high-quality housing solutions to the market.​
• Coordinate internal teams and liaise with external consultants, including traffic and transportation experts, to ensure seamless project progression.​
• Utilize Carlson Civil Suite or AutoCAD-based platforms to develop precise and detailed site designs.​
• Mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and instilling pride in the quality of work produced.​
