We’re looking for: National Director of Sales – Lead Our Growing Food Production, Distribution, and Import/Export Company!
This position would require relocation to Houston!
Are you a strategic sales leader with a passion for the food production, distribution, and import/export industry? Do you have a proven track record of driving sales growth, managing high-performing teams, and expanding market reach? We’re looking for a National Director of Sales to lead our sales strategy and contribute to the continued success and growth of our dynamic food production, distribution, and import/export business.
As the National Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s national sales strategy, managing a high-performing sales team, establishing strong relationships with key partners, and driving revenue growth across various markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a national sales strategy that aligns with company goals for growth in food production, distribution, and import/export markets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a national sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure sales objectives are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and international partners in the food production, distribution, and import/export sectors.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion, including international markets and trade relationships.
- Collaborate with product development, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and product offerings.
- Monitor sales performance, industry trends, and market conditions to adjust strategies and drive growth.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings, ensuring brand visibility and market presence.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the food production, food distribution, or import/export sectors.
- Proven success in driving sales growth, expanding into new markets, and developing strategic sales initiatives.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a national sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with experience in dealing with international clients and distributors.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and experience in data-driven decision-making.
- Willingness to travel nationally for client meetings, trade shows…whatever is necessary.
- The ideal candidate will possess advanced Spanish language skills
