Associate Attorney Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Maryland or eligible for Maryland Bar admission
• 3+ years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on commercial real estate
  • Must have experience with commercial leasing
• Must meet all attorney compliance standards and be admitted to the Maryland Bar
• Strong skills in research, analysis, writing, and client communication
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities, both written and verbal
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset

Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, revise, and negotiate leases and related transactional documents
• Collaborate with various departments to manage deadlines, legal matters, negotiations, and communication with opposing counsel, brokers, tenants, and financial institutions
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform under pressure while working with individuals at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), LexisNexis, Maryland Land Records, and the State Department of Assessments and Taxation
• Provide support to the Assistant Vice President of Legal and the general leasing team
