Associate Attorney Requirements:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in Maryland or eligible for Maryland Bar admission
- 3+ years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on commercial real estate
- Must have experience with commercial leasing
- Must meet all attorney compliance standards and be admitted to the Maryland Bar
- Strong skills in research, analysis, writing, and client communication
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset
Associate Attorney Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, revise, and negotiate leases and related transactional documents
- Collaborate with various departments to manage deadlines, legal matters, negotiations, and communication with opposing counsel, brokers, tenants, and financial institutions
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to perform under pressure while working with individuals at all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), LexisNexis, Maryland Land Records, and the State Department of Assessments and Taxation
- Provide support to the Assistant Vice President of Legal and the general leasing team
