We are seeking an experienced catering leader to join our campus dining team year-round and service the high-profile members of our staff as the Catering Assistant Manager. Great team and environment! Apply Today!

Catering Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

  • Executes events as needed, ensuring the high-profile customer is satisfied
  • Leads daily operations of the catering team
  • Ensures all safety regulations are followed
  • Manages inventory and other financial statements required
  • Leads pre-service meetings for all events
  • Trains staff on standards and procedures

Catering Assistant Manager Requirements:

  • Associates Degree (preferred) in food service or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in high-volume food service
  • Preferable background in upscale, catering, banquet, or resort operation
  • Experience with vendor purchasing and inventory programs
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Able to drive a commercial truck
  • Able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts (typically 50 hours/week)
