Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager
We're working with a leading engineering firm that is looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead and oversee land development projects. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring a team of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Manage commercial and residential land development projects, including paving, drainage, grading, water, and wastewater systems.
- Provide problem-solving solutions, technical guidance, and mentorship to engineers and EITs.
- Coordinate with clients, attend project meetings, and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Oversee all technical and financial aspects of projects to ensure successful delivery.
- Support and develop junior engineers through mentorship and training.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering (or related field) with a focus on land development.
- Licensure: PE license required. Candidates not currently licensed in Delaware must be willing to obtain a DE license within the first six months of employment.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in civil engineering and project management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or HydroCAD.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and work independently.
