Welder Responsibilities:
- Move material using a forklift and crane according to standard operating procedure
- Verifies correct quantity and quality of parts welded
- Select and install proper welding wire and gas mixture
- Operate a fuel gas hand torch for heat straightening purposes
- Perform cleaning, assembly, and straightening operations as directed by Supervision
- Set up and fine-tune the welding machine for proper wire speed and machine voltage
- May be required to perform the following welding processes: GMAW, Flux, Sub Arc, etc.
Welder Requirements:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a welder required
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Heavy Manufacturing in a Job Shop preferred
- Know and understand welding symbols
- Read and comprehend welding instructions and structural drawings
Welder Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $23.00/hour to $27.00/hour – depending on experience
- $2 Shift Premium for 2nd Shift
- PTO within in the first 6 months of employment
- 401K and Profit Sharing
