We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a fabulous upscale restaurant team! This role requires a strong background in human resources in the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within restaurants.
HR Manager Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted HR partner to management and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and hospitality industry regulations
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top hospitality talent
- Handle employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution with professionalism and discretion
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with wage and labor laws
- Develop and update Handbooks and implement training programs to enhance employee development and engagement
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, and EEO
- Support HR initiatives and employee engagement
HR Manager Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HR experience in the hospitality industry (restaurant HR experience is required)
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices within a hospitality setting
- Experience in onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and benefits administration
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Experience working with new restaurant openings!
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP)
