A rapidly expanding hospitality group with a diverse portfolio of premium properties across several states is seeking a seasoned financial leader to join their team. The VP of Accounting position will serve as the financial backbone of the organization, guiding strategic fiscal decisions and ensuring robust accounting practices across multiple locations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- At least 3-5 years in a multi-property hospitality accounting leadership role
- Proficiency with specialized hospitality accounting platforms (e.g., M3 or equivalent)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational communication abilities
- Experience leading and mentoring accounting teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all finance and accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across a portfolio of hotel properties
- Drive the monthly and annual financial close process, including audit readiness, payroll oversight, and reconciliations
- Partner with senior leadership on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and government regulations, including GAAP and IRS guidelines
- Maintain and oversee company-wide financial controls, cash flow strategies, and internal reporting frameworks
- Supervise regulatory reporting, including tax filings and state/federal payroll submissions
- Strengthen systems and procedures to support long-term scalability and operational excellence
- Cultivate a results-oriented finance team focused on continuous improvement and high performance
