Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, businesses, and real estate entities
- Conduct tax research and assist with strategic tax planning
- Analyze financial statements and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax-related matters
- Stay updated on the latest tax laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA license required
- 2+ years of experience in tax preparation
- Strong understanding of tax codes and regulations
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte) and Microsoft Office
